Charles M. Lavin "Bud", age 94 a longtime resident of Eddystone passed peacefully on August 20, 2011 in Havre De Grace, Maryland. Bud retired as a General Foreman from Penn & General Steel. He also retired as a lieutenant Commander for the Delaware County Prison and as Vice President of M.L. Security Services. Bud loved his family, sports, Irish music and was an avid gardener. Shamrocks were his favorite.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen Lavin
Survivors: Daughters: Michele (Joseph) Dougher, Lori (Daniel) Bunel and Donna (Vincent) DiFrancesco.
Grandfather of Heather Martin, Christine Shivo, Daniel Bunel IV, and Paul DiFrancesco.
Great Grandfather of Madison Saunderson, Sabrina, Nicholas and Joseph Schiavo, Maya, Michael and Michelle DiFrancesco, Owen and Even Bunel.
Loving sister of Margaret McGuigon
Funeral Mass: Friday, 10AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike Eddystone, PA. 19022
Visitation: Friday, 9-10AM in the church.
Burial: Private
