Obituary of Virginia Veal

Virginia Veal age 98 of Primos, passed away peacefully on Dec 6, 2020 at home.

Born in Lansdowne, Maryland, Virginia was raised in Philadelphia and a graduate of West Philadelphia High School Class of 1939. She worked for 43 years at Atlantic Employees Federal Credit Union. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling especially to Cape May with her friend Diane.

She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Glenolden for over 60 years.

She is predeceased by her husband Jack Veal, parents Hildebrandt and Carrie Blakemore, siblings Evelyn McDonnell and Chester Blakemore.

She is survived by her nephews Philip (Catherine) Baney, Richard (Denise)Blakemore, John Fessler, Gregory Fessler and several great nieces and nephews and also her best and cherished friend Diane Holloway.

Services will be broadcasted through Zoom on Thursday Dec 10 at 11am
