Obituary of Linda E. Smeltzer

Linda E. Smeltzer age 61 a longtime resident of Folsom passed away peacefully on Aug. 19, 2011 at home. A 1968 graduate of Ridley High School, she went on to further her education at Kutztown University graduating in 1972 with a BS in Education and in 1974 with her masters. Linda retired after 26 from the Delaware County Intermediate Unit as a Special Education Teacher. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Springfield and a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Folcroft. Predeceased by her parents William and Dorothy Smeltzer Survivors: Loving Sister of Donna (Duane) Stout of Michigan and William W. (Nancy) Smeltzer of Myerstown, PA. Loving Aunt of Christine Frederick, Gary Bruce, William G. Smeltzer and Carrie M. Boyer and also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: Tuesday. 12, noon at St. John's Lutheran Church, corner of Glen and Folcroft Ave. Folcroft, PA 19032. Viewing: Tuesday, 10-12PM at the church. Burial: will be held privately at Schuylkill Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
