Geraldine Elizabeth Morgal (nee Richmond), age 73 of Secane, passed away on April 9, 2020. Gerri was born and raised in South Philadelphia (Grays Ferry) on February 13, 1947. She attended St. Gabriel's School and St. Maria Goretti. She loved vacationing in Wildwood, which was a second home to her and taking long walks on the boardwalk. An avid fan, Gerri loved watching the Philadelphia Phillies, Game Show Network, and HGTV. She also enjoyed going to the casino, listening to oldies music and oldies nights, and her first love, singer Bobby Darren. Gerri will be remembered always in her pajamas, sunglasses, nails done, wearing her favorite perfume "Design". You could always find Gerri dancing, singing, laughing, and enjoying life to the fullest. She was the light in every room and everyone she ever met adored her for her bright and bubbly personality. Gerri loved her family and friends more than anything. Gerri was the "rock" of her family, and their whole world. One of a kind, she was the absolute greatest wife, mother, and mommom anyone could ask for, and will be missed and loved for all of eternity. Gerri is predeceased by her parents James and Elizabeth Richmond. Survivors: Loving wife of 45 years of Joseph Morgal, cherished mother of Kelle Thomas, who she absolutely adored, and beloved grandmother of Joey, who she loved more than life itself. Services for Gerri will be held at a later date. Please check back to the obituary online at https://mcgfh.com for updated service information. In lieu of flowers, Gerri's family is requesting all memorial contributions be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis TN 38105
